Абсолютная необходимость этих соединений в процессах роста, дифференциации и специализации клеток стала очевидной в результате работ, выполненных в последнее двадцатилетие, которые установили также, что алифатические дии полиамины в избыточных концентрациях являются токсическими соединениями.
