Впервые сконструирована особая наследственная единица (эпиген), которая может кодировать, хранить и передавать в ряду клеточных поколений изменения функционального состояния, вызванные внешними специфическими сигналами, без изменения ДНК-последовательностей, входящих в систему генов.
