Диссертация
Альтернативное название коры головного мозга — новая кора или неокортекс — отражает время появления ее на верхней ступени эволюции. То, что неокортекс развивался относительно быстро со времени своего появления на эволюционной сцене, указывает на его уникальную значимость в механизмах приспособления вида к непредвиденным условиям существования.
