ОКТ рекомендуется проводить для ранней диагностики и мониторинга изменений сетчатки макулярной области после хирургии РОС, раннего выявления послеоперационного прогрессирования ПВР. Обнаружение эпиретинальной мембраны у пациентов через 7 дней после хирургического лечения является проявлением локальной ПВР, а также фактором риска развития диффузной ПВР (19%).
