На масштабах порядка Л0 и меньше вязкие силы превалируют над динамическими и турбулентные пульсации отсутствуют (Ландау и Лифшиц, 1986). Для интересующих нас атмосферных условий Л0 «1 мм, в то время как минимальный размер сеточной ячейки Amin в силу ограниченных возможностей современных компьютеров составляет величину порядка десятков метров для реальных облачных задач.
