Молекула белка-фермента может обладать внутренней анизотропией механических свойств, связанной с ее структурной неоднородностью. Экспериментально показано, что молекулу лизоцима следует рассматривать как конструкцию, состоящую из 2-х жестких доменов, соединенных упругой связью.
