Между тем, имеется ряд фактов, не укладывающихся в рамки существующих представлений о природе вирулентности В. anthracis. Так, штаммы близкородственных видов таксономической группы САМ, унаследовавшие в результате трансдукци-онной передачи плазмиду рХ02 из высоковирулентного штамма В. anthracis КМ85, не повышали вирулентность для лабораторных животных.
