Научная новизна. Впервые у клещей в синганглии локализована область вторичной обработки сенсорной информации и зарегистрирована ее реакция на различные запаховые стимулы. Впервые показана корреляция между поведенческой реакцией и электрофизиологическим ответом синганглия иксодового клеща (/. регБикМш) на различные запаховые стимулы.
