Несмотря на местное воздействие ИГКС на дыхательные пути, сведения о проявлении системных нежелательных эффектов ИГКС существуют разноречивые, начиная от их отсутствия и вплоть до выраженных, представляющих риск для (23, 33, 35, 91, 83).
