Таким образом диагностика и лечение повреждений шейного отдела остаются серьезной проблемой в хирургии позвоночника. КТ является оптимальным методом исследования. Однако высокая стоимость не позволяет использовать его в качестве скрининговой диагностики. Выбор метода лечения преимущественно зависит от навыков и владения ими хирургов.
