Постменопаузальный остеопороз (ПМО)-многофакторное заболевание, обусловленное естественным процессом старения, и в 80% случаев оно генетически детерминировано. Наиболее грозным осложнением остеопороза являются низкотравматичные переломы, приводящие к инвалидизации и повышению смертности.
