Диссертация
Эффективная колонизация плотных сред осуществлялась клетками большинства изученных штаммов за счет дифференцировки в длинные нитевидные клетки, которые двигались по типу роения. Как было показано, роение является жгутико-управляемой формой подвижности, используемой многими бактериями для совместной колонизации твердых поверхностей.
