Визуализацию резецированной поверхности корня на предмет наличия дополнительных корневых каналов и соединяющих их перешейков (истмусов), лучше осуществлять при помощи систем микрозеркал, после окрашивания поверхности корня раствором метиленового — синего под максимальным увеличением операционного микроскопа (в 24 разах 2.5).
